GREENSBORO, N.C. – Members of the Military, Piedmont Triad teachers and first responders will be admitted free of charge to the 2012 Wyndham Championship courtesy of Technology Concepts & Design, Inc. and D.H. Griffin, it was announced today. The 73rd annual Wyndham Championship is set for Aug. 13-19, 2012.

2007 Wyndham winner Brandt Snedeker returns to Sedgefield this year after finishing tied for third at the Open Championship in England last weekend. Earlier this season, he won the Farmers Insurance Open in San Diego, Calif. Snedeker is 18th in the current FedExCup point standings and 24th in the Official World Golf Rankings. He has four top-10 finishes in the 14 tournaments he has played this season. The Vanderbilt University alumnus won the inaugural Wyndham Championship and went onto become the PGA TOUR Rookie of the Year that season. This year’s tournament will be Snedeker’s sixth consecutive appearance here; he is sixth in career Wyndham Championship earnings with $1,225,839.
