Dare's Doodles - Updated Monday, April 13, 2009!
Well another year has rolled around and we are getting ready for the 2009 Wyndham Championship.  We have made some wonderful changes for the 2009 Tournament.  I will be adding to "Dare's Doodles" as we go along.  Hope you have rested and ready for another successful year!

As many of you know, the Wyndham Championship was selected by the PGA Tour as the Most Improved Tournament on the Tour for 2008.  I credit all the wonderful Volunteers that I had the pleasure to work with on and off course.  Thank you for all of your hard work.  Your efforts really paid off!

The new online registration is up and running.  We have a new look and we are very excited.  If you have any problems getting in, please email me at home dlondon@triad.rr.com.  I will be glad to answer your questions or find the answer.  Please know that with any new technology there are always "issues".  Please give us time to work through these.

Please mark your calendar for Volunteer Day on July 18th at the Carolina Theater.  We are extremely excited about having the gathering at this beautiful venue.  The best part is there is a free parking deck just across the street!  Sedgefield was wonderful to host us last year and we had a good time.  There just was not enough parking at the Club.  I know you are going to enjoy the Carolina Theater.  I will let you know more of the details later. 

We are very excited about our new clothing sponsor.  The Summit Golf Brands  which owns Fairway and Green will supply the Tournament clothing.  The Volunteer shirt will be a pale light slate blue 100% wicking shirt.  The hat will be a grey khaki.  We have held the cost to $40.
 
For those of you that want to volunteer for Pro Am Caddie, you will no longer register with the Volunteer site.  You will now register with the Pro Am Caddie Chairman.  I will send you that email address as soon as I receive it.

These are just a few of the many changes for the 2009 Wyndham Championship.  I will be updating you as soon as I receive the changes.  I am so looking forward to working with each one of you and am delighted to have you back.  Thank you for all you have done for the Tournament in the past and know that your efforts have helped us to just get better and better.  Have a fun evening.  Dare
