WYNDHAM CHAMPIONSHIP INTRODUCES RIGHT DECISIONS, RIGHT NOW YOUTH GOLF CLINIC

GREENSBORO, N.C. The Right Decisions, Right Now Youth Golf Clinic will debut at the inaugural Wyndham Championship, set for Aug. 13-19 at Forest Oaks Country Club. The youth golf clinic will now be conducted at 3 p.m. on Tuesday of tournament week rather than its traditional time slot on the Sunday prior to the tournament. The Right Decisions, Right Now Youth Golf Clinic will include special appearances by trick-shot artist Dan Boever, Miss North Carolina and PGA TOUR golfers. Each child will receive a Wyndham Championship Right Decisions, Right Now hat and a youth tobacco prevention poster. The Tuesday clinic provides a better opportunity for PGA TOUR players to participate in the event, which is set for 3 p.m. at the Forest Oaks practice range. The Right Decisions, Right Now Youth Golf Clinic is a direct reflection of our desire to get kids and families to the Wyndham Championship together, tournament director Mark Brazil said. Our Youth Golf Clinic now delivers a powerful message to Piedmont Triad kids about saying no to tobacco products, and it is an important part of the Wyndham Championship. The goal of the Right Decisions, Right Now, youth tobacco prevention program is to prevent young people from using any tobacco (cigarettes, smokeless tobacco and any other forms). R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company sponsors the program. The 2007 Wyndham Championship is set for Aug. 13-19 at Forest Oaks Country Club in Greensboro, N.C. Tickets can be purchased online at wyndhamchampionship.com, at Piedmont Triad Harris Teeter locations or through the tournament office. The tournament welcomes Wyndham Worldwide as its new title sponsor and thanks Premier Partners, AIG, Harris Teeter and VF Corporation for their continued support.
