Wyndham Championship Third Round Sells Out

GREENSBORO, N.C. – – The Wyndham Championship’s third round is a complete sell out, it was announced today. Tickets remain for the tomorrow’s final round of the 69th annual tournament being played at Sedgefield Country Club.

Tournament organizers had a total of 25,000 tickets available; that number includes all hospitality passes, weekly badges and general-admission tickets. The tournament is being contested at Sedgefield for the first time since 1976.

“This is a big day for the Wyndham Championship,” tournament director Mark Brazil said. “We reached a milestone today that we thought might take a couple of years to realize. We have seen many positives from our move to Sedgefield. The players love the course, and the fans have clearly responded positively. Now, we have to take this momentum and build on it.”

The 2008 Wyndham Championship concludes tomorrow in Greensboro, N.C. A limited number of tickets are available online at wyndhamchampionship.com.
