Wyndham Rookie or Legend Sweepstakes

Greensboro, N.C. – Just in time for the 2008 Wyndham Championship, Wyndham Vacation Ownership has unveiled its exciting new “Rookie or Legend” sweepstakes, which offers golf fans a chance to enter to win one of two highly customized, luxurious golf carts. Designed to reflect the respective styles and career milestones of 2007 PGA TOUR “Rookie of the Year,” Brandt Snedeker, and revered king of golf, Arnold Palmer, each golf cart boasts a variety of innovative upgrades and elegant appointments.

Attendees at the 2008 Wyndham Championship may enter to win by visiting the “Rookie or Legend” sweepstakes booth or the Bridgestone 19th Hole tent during each day of the tournament. The company in 2009 will draw two winners awarding both a golf cart, with the first lucky winner getting to choose either the specially designed Brandt Snedeker golf cart or the customized Arnold Palmer golf cart.

“Arnold Palmer is the undisputed king of golf while Brandt Snedeker is undoubtedly the sport’s brightest rising star,” said Bryant Raper, executive vice president & Chief Marketing Officer, Wyndham Vacation Ownership. “We’re thrilled to debut an original sweepstakes program that successfully unites these two prominent players at the Tournament returning to the historical Sedgefield County Club.”

Designed to showcase his elegant style, Arnold Palmer’s E-Z-Go Freedom TXT is painted a classic red and features elegant burlwood appointments throughout. The cart also includes customized seats, complete stereo system as well as an upgraded ball and club cleaner. With a retail value of $8,467, this exceptional golf cart even features an embossed signature of “The King” himself.

Brandt Snedeker’s DS Player Club Car is designed to reflect the vibrant energy of the 2007 Wyndham Championship winner. This eye-catching golf cart, with a retail value of $8,047, features 12” custom rims, customized seats, a stereo system complete with an iPod adaptor, interior chrome finish and a tinted windshield.

In January 2008, Wyndham Worldwide signed the 2007 Wyndham Championship winner, Brandt Snedeker, to a multi-year endorsement partnership.
