The Field
The starting field of 132 players is determined by the PGA TOUR. The Chrysler Classic of Greensboro has four sponsor exemptions. Two are restricted to current PGA TOUR professionals. The tournament can fill its two unrestricted exemptions with any golfer who has a scratch handicap.

Format

Play will be contested over 72 holes of stroke play. The low 70 golfers will make the 36-hole cut. Should a playoff be necessary following the final round, the playoff holes are 18, 17, 18, 17, etc.
Tickets
Tickets for the Chrysler Classic of Greensboro are available at all Triad-area Harris Teeter locations, Triad-area Chrysler dealerships and through the tournament office at (336) 379-1570. Additional tournament information is available at www.chryslerclassic.org. If purchased at Harris Teeter with a VIC card, good-any-day tournament tickets are discounted by $10.

All four rounds of the Chrysler Classic of Greensboro have live television coverage.
Thursday: 4 – 6 p.m. on USA Network Friday: 4-6 p.m. on USA Network

Saturday: 3-6 p.m. on USA Network Sunday: 3-6 p.m. on ABC Sports

2005 Chrysler Classic of Greensboro Recap
Charles Warren tied the tournament record with 10-under-par 62 to lead K.J. Choi by two strokes and D.J. Trahan by three following the first round. In the second round, John Huston moved to 12-under-par 132, one ahead of Choi. Justin Rose and Trahan were two back. After 54 holes, Trahan and Choi shared the lead at 16-under-par 200, one ahead of Jason Bohn, Shigeki Maruyama. Rose trailed by two strokes. Choi fired a final-round 66 to win the tournament by two strokes over Maruyama. For his efforts, Choi took home the $900,000 Chrysler Classic winners check. Bohn, Brandt Jobe and Charles Warren finished tied for third place, five strokes behind Choi.
