BANK OF AMERICA IS TOURNAMENT'S NEW OFFICIAL BANK

GREENSBORO, N.C. � Bank of America is the new official bank of the Wyndham Championship. With their official bank status, Bank of America joins the Wyndham Championship family of Tournament Partners. The PGA TOUR returns to the Piedmont Triad for the inaugural Wyndham Championship Aug. 13-19 at Forest Oaks Country Club. Time Warner Cable and Duke Energy, two existing sponsors, have increased their involvement and are also new Tournament Partners. The remaining Tournament Partners are BB&T, Blue Cross & Blue Shield of North Carolina, Coca-Cola, Lincoln Financial Group, North Carolina Electric and SunCom. �The Wyndham Championship is headed in the right direction, and it�s important to everyone at Duke Energy to be a part in the growth of this event,� Duke Energy Business Relations Manager Dave Maner said. �In fact, we�re so excited about being a part of the tournament that we�ve stepped up our commitment to become a Tournament Partner. We understand that supporting the Piedmont Triad�s only major league sports event is good for our region, which means it�s also good for Duke Energy.� With three weeks remaining until the PGA TOUR returns to the Piedmont Triad, Wyndham Championship corporate hospitality is now sold out despite four additional skyboxes, chalets and tents at the 18th hole. Individuals can still purchase hospitality tickets, though. The remaining individual hospitality opportunities are in the Champion�s Club, an upscale shared-hospitality pavilion located adjacent to the 18th fairway. Packages can be purchased in increments of either five or 10 tickets per tournament day. �Selling out our corporate hospitality says a great deal about the Wyndham Championship,� tournament director Mark Brazil said. �When companies like Bank of America, Duke Energy and Time Warner Cable increase their support, we know they see the progress our tournament is making and that they like the direction our board is heading.� The 2007 Wyndham Championship is set for Aug. 13-19 at Forest Oaks Country Club in Greensboro, N.C.
