GREENSBORO, N.C. – – Jefferson Pilot Financial, the longest-standing sponsor in tournament history, has increased its commitment in the Chrysler Classic of Greensboro, an official PGA TOUR event, and become the tournament’s ninth Tournament Partner.
The new Premier Partner and Tournament Partner sponsorship tiers were created by the Chrysler Classic earlier this year. VF Corporation and Harris Teeter are both Premier
“Jefferson Pilot has been a true friend to the Chrysler Classic throughout our entire history,” Tournament Director Mark Brazil said. “We certainly appreciate their increased commitment. Jefferson Pilot has shown solid community leadership over the years, and their additional support is the latest piece of great news about the health of the Chrysler Classic. Our sponsorships are well ahead of even our highest expectations.”
The 2005 Chrysler Classic of Greensboro is set for Sept. 26-Oct. 2, 2005 at Forest Oaks Country Club in Greensboro, N.C.
