Justin Thomas wins The CJ Cup at Nine Bridges, Moves to Third in Wyndham Rewards Top 10

Justin Thomas birdied the last hole for a 5-under par 67 and won The CJ Cup at Nine Bridges by two strokes over South Korea native Danny Lee and by five strokes over Hideki Matsuyama, Gary Woodland and Cameron Smith. With his 11th PGA TOUR victory and his second South Korea win in three years, Thomas jumped 34 spots in the FedExCup point standings and into third place in the Wyndham Rewards Top 10.

New last season, the $10 million Wyndham Rewards Top 10 not only adds drama to the Wyndham Championship as the final event before the FedExCup Playoffs but also puts an even greater premium on excelling over the course of the FedExCup Regular Season.

The top-10 Regular Season finishers in FedExCup points following the Wyndham Championship – also sponsored by Wyndham Rewards – will reap the benefits of the Wyndham Rewards Top 10. The regular season points leader will earn $2 million, followed by $1.5 million for the runner-up with the 10th-place finisher earning $500,000.
