MAC McANALLY HOSTS “MARGARITAS AND MEMORIES” WITH SCOTTY EMERICK AT PIEDMONT HALL

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Ten-time CMA Musician of the Year Mac McAnally will host “Margaritas and Memories” with special guest Scotty Emerick at Piedmont Hall on Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2023.

In addition to his lifelong work in country music, McAnally spent decades sharing the stage with the legendary Jimmy Buffett who died Sept. 1, 2023. Always immediately to Buffett’s right on the concert stage, McAnally could be better known for his partnership with the late tropical singer-songwriter than his solo career. Because of its close friendship with McAnally and Margaritaville, the Wyndham Championship is partnering with McAnally to host this very special event.

Emerick, a longtime McAnally friend, is Grammy nominated and a past winner of the Nashville Songwriters Association International Songwriter of the Year award. Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Toby Keith and Alan Jackson are some of the artists who produced Emerick-written songs. McAnally and Emerick will sing their favorite tropical songs and tell meaningful stories of special times in their careers.

“The first day of September was difficult for so many people,” Piedmont Triad Charitable Foundation CEO Mark Brazil said. “The Wyndham Championship has a great relationship with Mac and Margaritaville, and when Mac told our chairman, Bobby Long, that he wanted to do this show, we knew Piedmont Hall would be the perfect venue. We look forward to celebrating, remembering and definitely having a Margarita or two. This night will be a lot of fun!”

Tickets will be available for purchase through Ticketmaster or the Greensboro Coliseum Box office at Noon on Friday, Nov. 10, 2023. Piedmont Hall is located at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex at 2409 W. Gate City Blvd., Greensboro, N.C., 27403. The show starts at 7:30 p.m.; doors open at 6:30. The 85th annual Wyndham Championship is set for Aug. 7-11, 2024 at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, N.C.
