Military Admitted to Wyndham Championship Free of Charge

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Members of the Military will receive free admission to this month’s Wyndham Championship, it was announced today. The 71st annual Wyndham Championship is set for Aug. 16-22 at Sedgefield Country Club.

Members of the military and one guest will receive free admission to the Wyndham Championship. This offer includes men and women who are active, reservists and veterans and applies to all branches of the military. With a show of a current military or veteran identification card at the main gate, they will receive free entrance to the Wyndham Championships for themselves and a guest.

“These men and women are heroes, and they put their lives on the line so that we can do things like go to a PGA TOUR event,” tournament director Mark Brazil said. “Letting them into the tournament free of charge is the least we can do to say ‘thank you’ to the brave men and women who protect our freedom. We are proud to welcome them to the Wyndham Championship.”
