GREENSBORO, N.C. – More than a decade ago, Margaritaville made its first appearance at the Wyndham Championship. Next week, Paradise on 7 presented by Margaritaville Vacation Club becomes the tournament’s second island inspired free fan amenity, the tournament announced today. The 87th annual Wyndham Championship is set for Aug. 5-9, 2026, at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, N.C.
A tournament known as one of the PGA TOUR’s most fan-friendly events cannot maintain that status without enhancing its free fan offerings, and that’s exactly what the Wyndham Championship is doing this year. Those with general admission passes have access to many places, such as the Icons Lounge by Sports Illustrated Resorts and the Truist Fan Pavilion at the ninth green as well as the Lincoln Financial Fan Zone and Tito’s Golf Club at the 10th green.
New this year, at the par-3 seventh hole, is Paradise on 7 presented by Margaritaville Vacation Club. Paradise on 7, just a small change in latitude from its Margaritaville cousin near the clubhouse, just might take the title for best party on the course. This laid-back oasis is made for lounging and soaking in the island energy while watching some of the PGA TOUR’s best navigate the challenging seventh hole. At Paradise on 7, the prize drops are every hour, but the vacation state of mind is every minute.
