Saturday Grounds Tickets Honored for Wyndham Championship Final Round

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Due to torrential rains that interrupted the third round of the Wyndham Championship, Saturday grounds tickets and Saturday Ross Pavilion tickets will be honored for Sunday’s final round, it was announced today. Due to space limitations, Saturday hospitality tickets will not be honored for the final round.

Tremendous galleries followed multiple groups of players today, but the leaders had completed only a few holes before play was suspended at 3:53 p.m. It was the second weather delay of the day as the third round – already late starting because of the completion of the second round – was delayed two and a half hours before it began. The third round resumed at 6:42 p.m., but most fans left the course when the downpour began.

Hospitality areas include all luxury suites, sky boxes, viewing platforms, Champions Club, the YES! Weekly Party Deck and sponsored hospitality rooms in the clubhouse. Due to limited space in these venues, Saturday tickets cannot be honored tomorrow.

“We’ve definitely had some weather and operational challenges this week, but we want to thank our loyal fans for staying with us,” tournament director Mark Brazil said. “We want everyone to get their money’s worth, and today’s weather made that difficult so Saturday’s grounds tickets will be honored for tomorrow’s final round. It’s the least we can do show how much we appreciate how well this region is supporting the Wyndham Championship.”

The 70th Wyndham Championship concludes tomorrow at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, N.C. Tickets are available online at, at Piedmont-Triad area Harris Teeter locations or through the tournament office. The tournament thanks title sponsor Wyndham Worldwide and premier partners, BB&T, Flow Automotive, Harris Teeter and VF Corporation for their continued support. Additional tournament information is available at or through the tournament office at (336) 379-1570. For more information about Wyndham Worldwide, please visit
