Tiger Woods captured his 82nd PGA TOUR title at the Zozo Championship in Japan and is now eighth in the FedExCup point standings and Wyndham Rewards Top 10. With the win in his first appearance of the 2019-’20 PGA TOUR season, Woods tied eight-time Wyndham Championship winner Sam Snead’s mark of 82 career victories, more than any other golfers.
Local favorite Hideki Matsuyama finished second, three strokes behind Woods, and jumped 14 spots into ninth place in the standings. Lanto Griffin remains first in the Wyndham Rewards Top 10 standings.
