GREENSBORO, N.C. – – The Wyndham Championship and Uber are joining forces again this year to offer Piedmont Triad golf fans access to an on-demand, safe transportation option throughout the Wyndham Championship, the tournament announced today. The 77th annual Wyndham Championship is set for Aug, 15-21, 2016 at Sedgefield Country Club.
Through Uber, the Wyndham Championship’s ride-sharing app of choice, tournament patrons can use the Uber app to request a ride to drop them off near the tournament entrance. The Uber pick-up, drop-off area will be located at the intersection of Anson and Rockingham Roads, approximately 150 yards from the tournament’s main entrance and Will Call location. Uber/Wyndham Championship signage will clearly direct patrons to the pick-up, drop off area.
