GREENSBORO, N.C. (08-19-2011) —The “Vacation for Life Hole-In-One Challenge” at the Wyndham Championship, wasn’t so much of a challenge for PGA TOUR professional Derek Lamley.  During the second round today at the Sedgefield Country Club, Lamely made a hole-in-one at the 16th hole which won him vacations for life from Wyndham Vacation Ownership, a member of the Wyndham Worldwide family.

Lamely was awarded a CLUB WYNDHAM® Access vacation ownership interest with Wyndham Vacation Resorts as well as membership in the company’s points-based exchange program, which provides a lifetime of vacations and access to over 70 CLUB WYNDHAM resorts around the world. In addition, Lamely’s caddy won a one-week vacation stay at any CLUB WYNDHAM resort.

“We are extremely proud to award Derek with vacations for life, “ said Franz Hanning, president and CEO, Wyndham Vacation Ownership. “It takes a tremendous amount of dedication and determination to play on the PGA TOUR. These players not only deserve to unwind away from the pressures of the game but, most importantly, they need to take scheduled vacations with their family and friends for their health and well-being.”

Spectators should continue to keep an eye on the 16th hole for the remainder of the tournament, which continues at the Sedgefield Country Club through Sunday, August 21. Any of the tournament players acing the 16th hole during the tournament will win this exclusive prize.
