Wyndham Championship Holiday Gift Sale Set; Sale Proceeds Benefit the Empty Stocking Fund

GREENSBORO, N.C. – With Christmas right around the corner and Hanukkah starting today, Piedmont Triad golf fans can find the perfect holiday gifts at the annual Wyndham Championship holiday merchandise sale, and all sale proceeds will benefit The Empty Stocking Fund.  This year’s sale is set for Monday, Dec. 6 through Thursday, Dec. 9, it was announced today.

Contributions to the Empty Stocking Fund allow it to help Piedmont Triad families provide holiday gifts for their children up to the age of 13. The Empty Stocking Fund’s mission is to empower parents and guardians of children living at or below the poverty level by providing them with an opportunity to give their children gifts during the holidays.

The merchandise sale, featuring clothing by Fairway & Greene, is set for 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. each day at the Wyndham Championship office at 401 North Greene Street in downtown Greensboro. Fairway & Greene is widely acknowledged as the leader in high-end golf apparel.  All Wyndham Championship merchandise will be discounted up to 50 percent, and shoppers can pay for purchases with cash, check, Visa, MasterCard or American Express.  Among the available items will be shirts, hats, outerwear, pants, shorts, socks, books, pin flags, koozies, blankets and much more.
