Wyndham Championship Partners with Ensure Classic for Volunteer Admission

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Wyndham Championship volunteers and people who volunteer for the Champions Tour Ensure Classic at Rock Barn will receive free admission to both tournaments, it was announced today. The Wyndham Championship is set for Aug. 16-22 at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro. The Ensure Classic is set for Oct. 1-3 at Rock Barn Golf Club in Conover, N.C.

Wyndham Championship volunteers need only show their tournament credential at the Ensure Classic at Rock Barn to gain admittance to the grounds. Similarly, Ensure Classic volunteers can gain entrance to the Wyndham Championship by showing their Ensure Classic credential. Volunteers will be responsible for any parking charges at each tournament.

“This is a new program that is a real benefit to our volunteers,” Wyndham Championship tournament director Mark Brazil said. “We so much appreciate our friends in Hickory for reciprocating and agreeing to this partnership.”

“We’re just thrilled that our volunteers will have the opportunity to go witness an official PGA TOUR event as part of the benefits of being an Ensure Classic volunteer,” Ensure Classic executive tournament director Jim Correll said. “We appreciate Mark Brazil and the Wyndham Championship staff for making this possible, and we look forward to returning the favor in October when their volunteers come to our event.”
