After losing a six-stroke lead on the final nine holes, Andrew Landry rallied and won the American Express in LaQuinta, Calif. with birdies on the last two holes. He defeated Abraham Ancer by two strokes and jumped 178 spots to 17th in the FedExCup point standings. Kevin Na finished tied for 17th and joined the Wyndham Rewards Top 10 in ninth place; Justin Thomas remains atop the standings.

The regular season points leader will earn $2 million, followed by $1.5 million for the runner-up with the 10th-place finisher earning $500,000.
